Livingston County Educators Tour of Employers’ Job Opportunities Pontiac, IL – Livingston Workforce Services hosted an Educator Employer Tour on November 14. The intent of the tour was to provide area high school guidance counselors and administrators a first-hand experience of operations at employers within Livingston County. These school representatives are then able to share with students, information on local employers and local job opportunities available following high school graduation and beyond. Livingston Workforce Services collaborated with OSF HealthCare, Caterpillar Inc., Enbridge Inc., and Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR) to host a tour and presentation of job opportunities at each facility. Overall, the school representatives found the employer tours to be helpful as they work with students to determine what they want to do after graduation. Lunch was provided by the Livingston Area Career Center Culinary Arts program and sponsored by the Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council.
