Scholarship

​The WIOA grant is set up to aid qualifying individuals with assistance for education/training which leads to a high growth, in demand occupation.  The grant is easy, no cost, and would potentially give you the opportunity to further your education.

Note: Having a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) is typically required to attend a training program.  ​The WIOA grant also allows us to pay GED testing fees required to earn your high school equivalency.  If you need to obtain your GED, most community colleges offer FREE GED test preparation classes.  For more information on preparation classes, click on one of the community colleges above and navigate to their Adult Education page.

Prepare to apply for Federal Student Aid for training programs which accept federal and state financial aid.  Any financial aid awarded will be applied to tuition, books, and supplies prior to WIOA funding.

Review WIOA eligibility guidelines.  WIOA serves a wide range of individuals to help them find and qualify for meaningful employment.  All individuals are encouraged to apply even if they don't think they will meet eligibility criteria.
